Contest Rules

CONTEST THEME: *PAINTING MAKES PEOPLE SMILE*

RULE: See your art through the eyes of OTHERS. (choose 1-2 paintings Admin could agree OBVIOUSLY fits the theme. The image needs to stand alone on its answering the question as to whether it would make MOST people smile (or not) in agreement with Admin, and those getting a no will not be accepted to this contest. And, you can certainly try entering another image (if removed). Questions? Just read this Overview again.

Artwork must adhere to the following guideline rules: It must be created using wet paint media applied by hand directly onto canvas, board, glass, or paper placed on a table or easel. The tools used for application must be physical such as brushes, palette knives, sponges, or other manual instruments. Submitted images should represent completed paintings, ideally signed by the artist to enhance appeal to collectors. Strictly prohibited are digitally altered, AI-generated, photographic, mixed media, or DRY media artworks. Additionally, digital frames or any form of digital manipulation in the artwork are not permitted.

Submissions MUST MATCH the presented THEME with a MINIMUM 2 WARM COLORS, and clear description, including TYPE OF MEDIA (how art was created)? Entries that deviate from the rules and are deemed unfair to other contestants may be removed at any point during the contest as part of the fair curation process. Participants should be aware that their entry may or may not be accepted. Keep in mind that the voting audience includes both FAA members, non-members, and the general public. Content must be family-friendly, meaning no scary, violent, political, or sexually suggestive material.

This FAA Online Art Contest is sponsored by FAA Group, DEDICATED HAND PAINTED ONLY ART. You do not have to join the sponsoring group to participate in this contest. It is a fun competition with no prizes, only a virtual trophy honorary recognition COMMENT, awarded by the Admin Host at the end; beneath winning image chosen by FAA Members and the General Public through FAA computerized voting system. In case of a tie or additional awards, the Admin's decision is final.

All submissions must be the artists' own original artwork. It will be evaluated by online votes from visitors to the FAA website to determine if YOUR painting BEST fits the theme! Could you be the Winner they choose THIS time?
